Itinerary 5 days in Kyoto – November 2017
Miguel and Laura

In October of 2017 Lena helped my wife and me to organize our honeymoon in Japan. We loved the experience and in order to thank her we have written this recommendation.

In the past we always organized our trips ourselves, but on this occasion we asked for help for two reasons: Firstly we wanted to try a different experience, since a third person will bring fresh ideas. The second reason was that we completely underestimated the amount of time that organizing a 21-day trip to Japan takes; and we needed help to get it done on time. Since we have known Lena for years and we have accompanied her to trips organized by herself, we had absolute confidence that the trip would be a unique experience.

For starters Lena did a small study of our tastes to choose the sites and activities that would fit us best. Once she had enough material, instead of making a fixed schedule by the minute, she made a super flexible plan in which we could choose each activity according to the weather and our mood. Additionally although the plan was flexible, everything was perfectly explained so activities could be done in any order.

As we expected, Lena’s selection was spot on and full with gems that we would have never though of. Specifically, the descent of the Hozugawa River was the best activity we did in Kyoto; and it is something that we would have never planned ourselves. I am looking forward to do another trip organized by Lena, and we are lucky enough, to travel in her company
